16th century holiday home with panoramic views over the hills, private swimming pool not overlooked in a beautifully maintained park. A luxurious and majestic holiday space, decorated with care and equipped with a bright, luxurious and over-equipped kitchen with a back kitchen worthy of the greatest. A paradise for 8 guests in 4 spacious bedrooms, all with private bathrooms. A hidden haven of peace, just a stone’s throw from the most beautiful villages in France. The private cottage of the Château (4 additional rooms for 8 people) is included in the rental for a maximum of 16 people hosted on the estate.

This 16th century Château is situated on the hillsides of the  most beautiful part of the Gers, in a dominant position in a country lane.
Standing alone at the end of a private road, it is the centrepiece of a 4 hectare private park with another stone cottage, each enjoying their own private swimming pool and exclusive use of the park.

The main wing of the Chateau is situated on the hillside and has a surface area of 700m2 which will be enjoyed by 8 to 16 lucky guests in total exclusivity, including the park, several outdoor terraces and balconies, a private swimming pool below and not overlooked. All rooms have large windows opening either onto the private 4ha park or onto the panoramic view of the vineyards with the pool.

On the ground floor of the Château are the living rooms: 2 lounges with fireplaces and a large chef’s kitchen with central island, dining room. The whole ground floor is equipped with ©Sonos wifi speakers for multiroom sound. The whole, opening on the balcony and the shaded side terrace, with armchairs and garden furniture.

The kitchen is majestic and over-equipped with large worktops opening onto the dining room for uninterrupted conviviality. Perfect for chefs and gourmets who wish to enjoy a high level of service. The 15m2 utility room completes the picture.

On the first floor, a wide and long corridor leads to the 4 double bedrooms, all very spacious and with their own private bathroom. They all have windows opening onto the countryside.

The private cottage located in the private park of Chateau du Hameau can accommodate 8 people in 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on the 1st floor, for 170 m2 interior. It is  completely independent with its own fully equipped kitchen, laundry room and living room with wood-burning stove. It is decorated to a high standard and includes its own private swimming pool. It allows another family of up to 8 people to be accommodated on site.

Local Area

The Château du Hameau is located three kilometres from one of the most beautiful villages in France. Montreal of the Gers! Where you will find a local grocery shop and a traditional grocery shop, two restaurants, a bar, a bakery, a butcher’s shop, a tobacco shop & library, a pharmacy and many summer activities…

For shopping, there is Condom at 12 kms with all the essential shops, as well as a biocoop shop.
Weekly market on Sundays in Condom and in Montreal on Friday morning.
The most beautiful open air markets in the area: Nérac on Saturday morning. Eauze on Thursday morning! A must do.

Discovering vineyards, walks in historic villages, cycling, river cruises on the Baïse, accrobranche, medieval siege camp, vélorail on the old railway tracks, educational farms and producers to visit, night markets of producers, village festivals… There are many activities around the Château du Hameau!

Guest info

• At the entrance to the property,you will find the charming 8-person Wisteria cottage (4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms) with its own swimming pool, with no nuisance or vis-a-vis for the Château’s guests. This cottage is available to the Château’s guests for up to a maximum capacity of 16 people in total. Please, check all our direct rates below with our online booking platform
• Half day cleaning is included for each one week stay minimum.
• Final cleaning fees included in the full rental amount.
• Tourits taxes will be automatically added (1.45€/adult/night)
• A 3000€ security deposit is asked upon arrival via a credit card imprint
• Pets are not allowed on the property
• Parties with guests and/or external guests are not allowed
• Check-in time : 5pm. Appointment and keys handed over on site
• Check-out time: 10am max.
