This 5-star Gascon manor house in the heart of the countryside with panoramic views over the valleys was recently renovated by its owners, who come from a family of interior designers. Everything has been meticulously thought out to ensure that beauty and comfort are palpable from the moment you enter. Large, modern picture windows, a fully-equipped chef's kitchen opening onto a huge living room with magnificent sofas, a pool table, a bar area, fireplace, giant screen TV... 5 bedrooms and a 2-bedroom master suite with king-size beds and private bathrooms.... Outside, summer kitchen, heated swimming pool, children's games, petanque area, pond with natural spring... Nothing is missing
A majestic 450m2 building, Domaine Gers is one of the finest 5-star holiday homes in the Gers.
Situated in the heart of the countryside, isolated from the rest of the world by its 5 hectares of private land, Domaine Gers is one of those houses where the panoramic view over the valleys of Gascony almost makes you believe that time has stood still and that space belongs to you. Specially designed for the most discerning travellers, it boasts a huge 250m2 living room with an over-equipped chef’s kitchen featuring 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, 2 sinks, a wine cellar and a double-door fridge ©Samsung. Opening onto the dining room and lounge area with giant screen, pool table, bar, beer taps and several direct accesses to the outside.
3 bedrooms on the ground floor welcome travellers in king-size beds with a soft welcome and firm comfort, including a master suite with 2 bedrooms. All with private bathrooms and wc, a choice of several pillows per room, comfortable thick bathrobes and cotton satin sheets.
Upstairs, accessible via the staircase, a large mezzanine opens onto the living room, where children can enjoy a PS5 and a selection of video games sorted according to age, a desk area with ethernet sockets, board games with felt pens, a selection of drawings to colour in… There are 3 other bedrooms with private bathrooms, including a dormitory room with 3 single beds and a built-in reading hut.
The well-kept grounds are available exclusively to guests and offer access to a private heated swimming pool, adjoining a sheltered pool house with garden furniture, table football, an indoor shower room, fridge and bar area. There’s also a private, floodlit petanque court, a children’s playhouse with slide and, just off the house, a summer kitchen with griddle, fridge and beer taps, and an outdoor dining area where aperitifs and breakfasts take on the air of sunny fairy tales. The more adventurous travellers at Domaine Gers can also take advantage of a private pond to discover the art of no-kill fishing, or borrow one of the property’s 10 electric VTCs for a nature excursion.
Every day, a dedicated butler comes to look after the pool, empty the bins and even offers to do your shopping. No need to lift a finger to taste the delights of Gascony (wines, foie gras, cheeses, strawberries, local tomatoes…).

Local area
The Gers, a gastronomic department par excellence, is full of activities to delight the senses, with its restaurants, organic markets and night markets, and its often little-known wine estates, where you can book a private tour of a neighbouring winery run by women. Culture is no match for gastronomy, with museums, exhibitions and open-air theatres aplenty. More traditional activities in the Gers include hiking, playing tennis or basketball, hiring a quad bike or 2CV, or taking a flight in a hot-air balloon or glider.
The village of Fleurance is just a stone’s throw away, with all amenities and an open-air market on Tuesday mornings. The incredible village of Lavardens, Flaran Abbey, the sublime town of Lectoure, the collegiate church of La Romieu and the Walligator theme park are also among the region’s many attractions. Not to mention the many restaurants we can recommend where you can sample quality local produce, lovingly prepared by the department’s top chefs.

- One half-day of cleaning and one change of sheets is included per week of rental.
