Description

Le Castelpierre is one of the most popular and comfortable places to stay in Gascony. A perfect place for travellers looking for the real thing, without sacrificing the pleasure of a 4-star stay.

The house is 450m2 and has 7 ensuite bedrooms and suites: 6 double rooms and suites are located on the first floor and are accessible by lift. One last double room, adapted for disabled guests, is on the ground floor.

All bedrooms have independent air conditioning (AC)  and most have a TV. One of the rooms even has a whirlpool bath and a private sauna.

The living areas are spacious:

• The lounge has sofas, a piano, a fireplace insert, a video projector for film evenings and a computer with hi-fi amplifier and speakers throughout.
• The adjoining bar area also has a TV for match days and sports competitions, a fireplace, a bar counter with fridge, sink, kettle and coffee machine.
• The dining room seats a maximum of 18 people and also has an open fireplace for indoor grilling, even in winter.
• The fitness room with 2-seater sauna is equipped with a shower, rowing machine, elliptical bike, light weights, soft mats, 4/5 steps, resistance bands, skipping rope, fitness balls, etc. with direct access to the outside and the shaded terrace to continue your session in the fresh air.
• The kitchen is functional and fully equipped, and also opens onto a rear terrace for a summer extension of your workspace.

The outside terraces can accommodate your meals, as can the shady lime tree opposite the house. There is enough garden furniture for 18 people outside. 2 gas planchas are also available on site. The grounds are fully fenced for added security and peace of mind, and parking is available within the Château grounds.

The 20 m-long swimming pool is secured by an alarm and roller shutter. The quality of the water is tested regularly by the owners.

Local Area

This village castle nestles in the centre of a small village of a few hundred souls: Lagraulet du Gers. A village committed to organic farming and agroforestry. Every summer, on Saturday evening, a small gourmet market takes place in the village. Producers, locals and tourists come together for a well-deserved meal. Guest from CastelPierre can easily go there by walking and have anice time here.

Ideally situated in Gascony nearby Condom area,  guests can also easily discover the most exhilarating parts of the Gers from Lagraulet du Gers. Organic and night markets, antique and second-hand shops, fortified villages, Gallo-Roman villas, Armagnac estates, local producers, craft breweries, artists’ studios and memorable Gers cultural festivals such as Jazz in Marciac… Slowtourism is at its best here!

Guest info

• A half-day  mid-week cleaning service is included for a minimum stay of one week
• Final cleaning included. However, guests must leave the house in good order.
• Tourist taxes are not included in the price (1.45€/adult/night).
• A 1500€ security deposit is asked upon arrival via credit card imprint
• Pets are very welcomed on request ( 2 max) : 30€/day ( the property is fully fenced)
• Parties with guests and/or external travellers are not allowed
• Check-in : from 5pm. Appointment and keys handed over on site
• Check-out : 10am max.

• Covid-19: This property offers deferral to 18 months or refund in case of cancellation
• 50% deposit upon booking
• Final balance 3 months before the stay
